I live on Scott St. and I would like to see the parking situation there improve. I think that the biggest improvement could be getting all of Scott St. to be permit parking only. Currently the side with Camden Crossing is not permit parking and too many people who do not live in the neighborhood know about it.

That problem will actually solve itself. Camden Crossing will become a permited area once construction ends. Hopefully, that will take place within the next year. We are asking the parking authority to share the 300 block of Scott Street with new permited area.
What do you think about angled parking on the Barre Circle side?

It would definitely provide some extra parking spaces, but it would also narrow the road. A stop sign to slow the traffic down a little may be required if the road is narrowed. Some people drive like maniacs on Scott. A year or 2 ago someone crashed into a car parked outside my house so hard that it pused it up on top of the car parked behind it. I'd be all for some extra parking as long as it doesn't make the road more dangerous.
Hopefully the west side of Scott St. doesn't become a different parking zone that we can not use. I think some of the Camden Crossing residents may already have our area parking permits.
