My name is Adam Meister and I am your neighbor to the north. It's a quick run up to my house in Reservoir Hill. I should know because I make the run quite often during my afternoon 5 to 10 mile runs. Reservoir Hill and Barre Circle are both in the 11th district. Keiffer Mitchell is running for mayor so there will be an opening on the City Council to represent the 11th District.

As the above article states, I am running for that position. I have been reading this board for a while now now. Many of you are familiar with me from my TechBalt.com buy a block efforts in Reservoir Hill (I am a home owner occupant on Linden Avenue) and Lake Montebello. Some of you have seen me around during the downtown leg of my runs through the City. I jog almost every day so you may recognize me:

My community activism has lead me to nearby Pigtown where I participate in the weekly Saturday morning cleanups.
Something that we can all relate to is the ridiculous property tax rate that we are subjected to in Baltimore City. This is not a stump speech so I will stop with the politics for now. I will say that lowering the property taxes to Baltimore County's level and fighting crime/drugs are some of my main issues.
For those of you who are curious about my
academic background:
Friends School Class of 1994
Washington University in St. Louis Class of 1998
Perhaps a few of you attended school with me.
There are a few of you who have posted about topics
that are very pertinent to my campaign. If you want to talk to me please email me at orioles76@yahoo.com or call 410 225 9128. AdamMeister.com should be up soon. TechBalt.com has some of my housing related thoughts on it for now.
I am interested in attending an open Barre Circle community meeting so please email me information on when your next one is. I would be happy to speak or just observe. I do want to meet all of you though.
Regards,
Adam Meister
