Ryan (rk) and I are finally moving in tomorrow. Finally! After all this time lurking on this board we'll actually be a part of the community!
We'll probably just be ordering pizza tomorrow since we'll be moving and unpacking. Any good delivery or carry out places near-by??
What do you all eat when you're in a rush and have no time to cook?

Vinzinnis has really good pizza. They are in Mount Clare Station for pick up and they also have free delivery. As people know on this board, I'm also a big fan of the Yabba Pot. Great food and they also have organic coffee now. For fast sandwiches I go up to Silver Moon near the corner of MLK and W. Baltimore.

Hey congrats on the move!!!
We order from Italiano's a lot -- they're at 2229 Washington Boulevard, as you're headed towards the Home Depot. They don't deliver, but they do have a drive-up window for call-ahead orders. The food ranges from pasta entrees, to salads (the Greek salad is very good and HUGE), subs, pizza...steak...and breakfast at any hour of the day. Their number is 410-468-3377...and they accept credit cards.
We also order for Chinese Delivery from Yung's on Guilford Avenue 410-539-8200. They deliver quickly, and the food has always been hot and fresh. They also serve American-style foods like subs, which are supposedly very good. Can't verify that because I've only had the Chinese food.
Chen Carryout on Light Street also has decent food -- again, fast delivery and the food is fresh and hot. Their number is 410-539-7028.
I don't think either of the Chinese places accept credit cards. When ordering food here, it's always best to ask, as a lot of places don't, which is a HUGE PAIN.
Good luck with the move!!

Thank you both!!
So far we've already had Yabba Pot (great wraps and lemonade) and Vizzini's. If you think of other places like this, keep us posted! I'd love a collection of places to call or drive to for quick eats.....that is until Carol opens her place up, right?! ;D

I still stick to the places I knew living in Fed Hill for 3 years. I don't think any of them deliver over here, but it's super close. Thai Arroy on Light St., Schezuan Restaurant on Charles for Chinese, Garden City in the Mt. Clare shopping center isn't too bad either. Matsuri on Charles for sushi. There's a couple other sushi places over there that are pretty good I think we already discussed our love for Thirsty Dog and I got a confirmation of the rumor that they are trying to open a 2nd place on Wash Blvd!! I'll the 2nd the Italiano's mention. They're pretty good and have very good service, we go a lot on weekends when we're working on the house and too dirty to cook

Matsuri also has some of the best beef teriyaki I've ever had -- and their salad dressing...it's to die for. I could drink their dressing and skip most of the meal.
