We will be out of town for a few days in January and need a kennel for our Border Collie. Any recommendations?

We ended up going to Eastern Animal Hospital on Eastern Ave. It's just off of I-95 and convenient (if you don't mind paying tolls).
It's a big place and took me about 20 minutes to retrieve my dog because they were so busy (open until 8pm), but she was happy and appeared well-fed. They insisted I have her immunized for Parvo and I was charged about $100 for the office visit and shots - something she would only need if she was going to a kennel, ironically. The boarding charge was $27/day.
Overall, I would recommend them.

I have used City Pet Center over in Highlandtown area for our long trips and the dogs enjoyed it. They have a new location (cannot recall the street) where they can let the dogs mingle with others if you are interested. They were even going to have an online web camera, but that was not set up yet the last time we went. For overnights I have used the Light Street Animal Hospital (also their vet), which isn't as 'cozy' but close and I trust them for simple (and sometimes last minute) overnights.
