With school back in session, parking in Barre Circle has once again become an issue. Please remember: PARKING IN BARRE CIRCLE IS RESTRICTED TO RESIDENTS HOLDING AREA #15 PERMITS AND GUESTS WITH GUEST PASSES. It is against the law to sell Area #15 parking permits and guest passes to anyone. If you notice either a car without an Area #15 permit of any kind or a car with an Area #15 parking permit that is not a resident or a legitimate guest, please call 311 immediately. 311 requires a description of the car and the license plate number. The City is very proactive about ticketing cars if properly reported. Also, residents are not permitted to permanently park with guest passes. If you have too many cars for the allotted sticker permits, you cannot park with a guest pass.
So that we can keep track of cars that are suspected of violating the City's parking permit laws, let's post updates to this thread when we see suspicious activity. It will also give residents a means of defending themselves if they are using the permits legally.

I'd just like to add that it is also illegal: To allow use of your guest pass for anyone not actually visiting your residence and To use a guest pass three times a week for three weeks This is explained on the back of the guest passes but I know the rules changed last year so everyone may not be aware of the new rules. Violation of these rules is a misdemeanor that comes with penalties up to a $1000 fine and/or imprisonment for not more than 12 months, for each offense. To read the entire law, go to cityservices.baltimorecity.gov/charterandcodes/Code/Art%2031%20-%20Transit&Traff.pdf
