Hello neighbors,
I'm a bit confused about how to renew my residential parking permit. Do I have to go to the parking authority office or can I pay by mail and get my tags sent to me? The website isn't very clear.
Thanks! Leslie

Hi Leslie
Unless there is a special neighborhood sign up session (I'm not sure if you Barre Circle folks arrange one of those), you physically have to go to the office. You can do the preliminary paperwork online (and maybe even pay), but you do have to go to the parking authority to show your registration/proof of residence/etc. It doesn't usually take too long, but their hours are 8-5 M-Fri which can be frustrating for those of us who work full time. However, they will validate parking in the garage.

Thanks for the information Miranda!
I think we have a neighborhood signup or at least we did in 2005. The BPA site shows a meeting scheduled for 7/23/2005 at 1048 West Barre. Does anyone know if there such a meeting this year?
