Hi Everyone,
I am sending these greetings in advance as I will be moving to Baltimore around June 15. I have enjoyed reading all the introductions on this site and it creates a really warm and welcoming feeling for the community. I look forward to meeting as many people as possible in person.
I will be a child clinical psychology intern at UMB starting in July, coming from Southern Illinois University. Carbondale is very rural, so this is going to be a mega change for me! I am a nontraditional student, a bit older than most, and I have finally stopped telling my age. I am single and just live with my cat, although I will be getting one roommate coming from New Mexico and we are looking for a third!
I am pretty studious and so rather boring I guess, and probably work way too much to have time for many hobbies. But, I do enjoy art, raquetball, and going to the movies. Now that I think of it, it would be great to find a new racquetball partner in Baltimore! I also love coffee shops and trying new food, and I look forward to the neighborhood coffee shop opening!
So, hello to everyone, and I look forward to meeting you.

Welcome Debbie! If I wasn't such a klutz, I'd love to learn how to play raquetball. :-)
For now, I just stick to going to the gym and walking around Ft. McHenry in the mornings.

Hi Debbie,
Welcome! I don't know if I've ever played racquetball but I am always ready to try something new. I'll have to think about possible nearby places to play....

For you who don't think you can play racquetball, I said I LIKE to play racquetball but I didn't say I was GOOD at it! I actually used to play with a female friend and we basically only required of each other three things - no rules, no skill, and no laughing! We had a fun time just running around and smacking the ball, getting a good workout. I don't even know the racquetball rules - tried to learn once but it takes all the fun out of it. I would love to find somebody that just wants to get the exercise and horse around with it - it is great!
